Cool looking brakes good if you are going for red stem , seat post logos in red plus brake cables red also nice addition for anyone thinking to upgrade their brakes . Excellent toping power with no sqeaking from brake pads .

I've tried many a brakes for cyclocross and the best ones are these Avid Shorty Ultimates. I've had them on my no:1 cross bike for the last 6 months and eventually got round to buying them for no:2 cross bike! Extremely easy to set up and are quite frankly the best cross brakes on the market.

Loads of mud clearance.
Expensive - but worth it!

Unbeatable!!
